Bad Traunstein, Austria: Driver and townspeople watch oblong object beaming lights upward
At 6:00 p.m. on November 17, 1973, Johann Pritz and other witnesses in Bad Traunstein, Austria, watched an oblong object emitting lights upward for more than an hour.
Background
At 6:00 p.m. on November 17, 1973, Johann Pritz noticed an oblong object emitting lights upward while driving near Ulltichschlag, Austria; it resembled lights he had seen on October 29. He drove home to Bad Traunstein and continued watching the display to the south. He gathered several other witnesses in town, and they watched until the object faded out after 7:00 p.m. The case was reported by Alexander G. Keul under the pseudonym Ernst Berger in Flying Saucer Review. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
