Background
Roy Hiltner discovered an odd imprint in his soybean field near North Creek in northwestern Putnam County, Ohio. It was a depression 8 feet in diameter and 12 inches deep, with seven 4-foot-long grooves radiating from it. In the center were two holes, each 12 inches in diameter and 12 inches apart. Local and state officials examined the site and could not determine a cause. The entry reports no object sighting; Skylook (June 1974), the Toledo Blade (17 July 1974) and the CUFOS Associate Newsletter (1985) reported the trace. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
