Background

At 1:15 a.m. a witness up late in his trailer home at Saint-Cyrille-de-Wendover heard a heavy 'bumm, bumm, bumm' sound, as if something very heavy had fallen to the ground. From the living room window he saw a disc hovering low above a nearby field, with a red domed area and an orangish lower section with oval windows emitting white light. A 6-foot-tall robot that had apparently emerged from the object stood only 15 feet from his window, and he and his wife saw three more robots near the neighboring trailer. Over 3 hours of periodic observation the couple at one point saw 15 robots standing in line near a creek for 5 minutes before they moved off together as if on command; at 4:20 a.m. craft and robots were gone. The APRO Bulletin and Skylook reported the case in November 1974, UFO-Quebec followed in 1975 and 1976. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
