Background
At 8:25 p.m. Brad Condon, 14, was fishing in Trinity Lake near Pound Ridge, New York, when he noticed a slow-moving orange sphere circling the lake at about 40° elevation. After 10 seconds it stopped and descended to the surface, changing color to bright white. As it reached the water, Condon was overwhelmed by a nauseating smell of sulfur and vomited several times. The water hissed as the object sank, and ripples radiated from the surface; Condon returned home agitated. Eberhart cites the APRO Bulletin of May 1976 and Dolan's USO2.
