Falconbridge: Military Personnel and Radar Report a Spherical Target
A released Canadian military report documents a visual observation and several radar positions of a spherical target at high altitude near CFS Falconbridge on 11 November 1975.

The military report
A message from CFS Falconbridge to Canadian Forces Headquarters in Ottawa names Major Oliver, Captain Carson and Corporal Lauritsen as observers. They described a spherical target that appeared to rotate and had a surface resembling the Moon. Broken cloud limited visibility, and the object was seen intermittently for about two hours while ascending and descending.
The message also records contacts on height-finder and search radar: at 11:15 UTC, bearing 210 degrees, 30 miles away and 42,000 feet; at 11:20 UTC, bearing 200 degrees, 30 miles and 50,000 feet; and at 11:29 UTC, bearing 190 degrees, 25 miles and 72,000 feet. The report was also sent to the National Research Council in Ottawa and is marked as material from the Public Archives of Canada.
Context
The document establishes an official visual and radar report. It does not state that the object was 100 feet across, describe crater-like features, document six hours of tracking or mention F-106 interceptors. Those details from later accounts are not supported by this document.
