Background
At 8:20 p.m. a teenage girl driving alone near Putnam, Connecticut, passed underneath two dark metallic objects about 50 feet in diameter, one flying at an angle behind the other. Both had a red light in front, two on the sides and a blue light at the back, all blinking. One banked slightly before it went out of view, revealing a row of illuminated windows around its circular edge and a smaller circle like a "hatch" underneath. The case appears as "Case 1-2-79" in the International UFO Reporter of December 1976. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
