From 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on 5 December 1976, several witnesses at Sollefteå, Västernorrland, Sweden, watched an elongated object with lit round openings hover above a military base built into a mountainside and then above a nearby power station.

At 2:30 p.m., several witnesses at Sollefteå, Västernorrland, Sweden, observed an elongated object, estimated at 148 feet long, with round openings along its fuselage. Blue-green light shone from the openings, with a red light at the front and a diffuse orange glow underneath. The object hovered about 165 feet above a military base built into the mountainside, then moved on to hover above a nearby power station, where it jumped jerkily sideways between positions. After hovering for 15 minutes it tilted up, sped rapidly upward and was out of sight by 3:30 p.m. The account follows the entry in George M.
