Renton, Washington: Windowed disc hovers over Boeing plant and then a witness's house
At 9:30 p.m. on an evening in 1976, a resident overlooking the Boeing factory in Renton, Washington, saw lights hover over the plant, then a silent circular object with a row of windows hover about 900 feet above his house before leaving toward Lake Washington.

A man living on a hill overlooking the Boeing factory in Renton, Washington, noticed lights hovering above the building at the south end of the plant. The lights suddenly shot straight up, moved to the north end of the plant and hovered again, then made a quick arc and hovered about 900 feet above his house. The silent object was circular, about 50 feet in diameter and 12–15 feet high, with a curved low top, inward-sloping sides, a continuous row of windows separated by thin vertical supports and a yellow or amber light on top; he could see 3–4 images moving back and forth inside. After about 3 minutes it moved toward Lake Washington and disappeared within 4 seconds. The account follows the entry in George M.
