Background

Tom Thibault was alone on the road to Southville when his car was pushed back 250 feet by an object measuring 30 by 60 feet that hovered silently 10–12 feet above the road. A blue light emerged from the object, causing an electric shock and an unbearable noise. Thibault suffered a memory loss and afterward got headaches whenever he drove past the spot. The Digby Courier reported the case on February 24, 1977. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
