Abadan–Ahvaz highway, Iran: Stranded driver feels heat from bright color-changing object
On the night of 28 June 1977 a man with a flat tyre on the highway between Abadan and Ahvaz, Khuzestan, Iran, felt heat from a huge, bright object that changed colour and seemed to respond to his headlights.
Background
At night a man with a flat tyre was stopped on the highway between Abadan and Ahvaz, Khuzestan, Iran, when he suddenly felt heat from a nearby “huge, bright object” that changed from red to green to purple to blue. Its lights went off, and as the witness sat in the car to sleep, the light returned, even closer. When he turned off his headlights, the object extinguished its lights. Eberhart cites the “Review of Iranian UFO Reports” in IUR/Frontiers of Science 3/2 (1981). The account follows the entry in George M.
