On June 25, 1977, a man driving on the A303 near Warminster, Wiltshire, with his partially sighted fiancée saw a triangle of white lights that split up around the car, danced in the air, released an orange globe each and disappeared behind the car.
Background
A man was driving on the A303 with his partially sighted fiancée near Warminster, Wiltshire, England, when they saw a triangle of white lights ahead of them. When the lights came near the car they broke away, one to the side of the road and the other two on either side of the witnesses. They danced in the air for a while, and then an orange globe emerged from the center of each. All the lights moved to the rear of the car and disappeared behind it. David Clarke describes the case in The UFO Files. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
