At 9:05 p.m. a man in Big Sandy, Tennessee, saw an unusual configuration of lights outside his bedroom window to the east-northeast. The lights were arranged like a telephone pole, with a red light on top and many white and blue lights down both sides. He and his wife watched the object for 10 minutes as it hovered, dropped down and glided to another hovering position. Eventually it moved out of sight behind trees. The report was published as case 3-1-40 in the International UFO Reporter in January 1978. The account follows the entry in George M.
