A mother and her daughter were driving north of Oxford, Ohio on April 29, 1977 at 23:45 when a white light about 55 metres to their left accompanied the car. After accelerating, they overtook it within three minutes. The mother perceived only the light, while the daughter made out a disc-shaped object with a vertical cone.
