Key West, Florida: Flight instructor in a Cessna sees six unlit discs flying in a line

At midnight a flight instructor was flying his Cessna 172 to Opa-locka, Florida, when he saw a formation of six objects with no lights over Key West. Each object was disc-shaped and reflected the moonlight. They flew in a ragged straight line, approximately equidistant, at about 7,000 feet. Then they disappeared in the distance. The International UFO Reporter listed the sighting as case 3-3-24 in March 1978. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
