At 7:30 a.m. on March 29, 1978, Christopher and Geoffrey Kloppenborg, mustering sheep near Albury, New South Wales, watched a bright, stationary, chrome-colored cigar-shaped light for 5–8 minutes; a second, smaller object joined it and both departed east.
Background
At 7:30 a.m. Christopher Kloppenborg and Geoffrey Kloppenborg were mustering sheep near Albury, New South Wales, Australia, when they saw a very bright, stationary, chrome-colored light that cast a shadow on a hillside. They watched it through binoculars for 5–8 minutes; it appeared to have black shapes along its side and was shaped like a short cigar. Geoffrey went back to the house for a camera, and on his return he saw a second, smaller object travelling over the hills toward the first. It turned in front of the bigger object, and then both departed over the hills to the east. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
