At 11:00 p.m. on December 8, 1978, two young men near Milanere, Turin, saw a blue-white light among the trees; one walked toward it and vanished, and was later found unconscious, recalling figures with pumpkin-like heads and being raised.
Background
At 11:00 p.m. two young men walking along a mountain slope near Milanere, Turin, saw a blue-white light among the trees. One walked toward it and disappeared, and a few minutes later the light took off into the sky. The other went for help, and a search party found the missing man in a different direction, unconscious, cold and weak. Both suffered conjunctivitis for several days, and the one who vanished had a strange scar on his leg. He remembered only approaching a pear-shaped light, seeing three or four human shapes with pumpkin-like heads silhouetted against it, becoming paralyzed and vaguely being touched and raised. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
