Turís, Spain: Farmer finds egg-shaped craft on road, two small beings run aboard
At 11:30 a.m. on 25 July 1979 farmer Federico Ibáñez Ibáñez found an egg-shaped, white, metallic object standing on two legs on the access road to his vineyard near Turís, Valencia, Spain; two small beings ran aboard and it took off.
Background
At 11:30 a.m. farmer Federico Ibáñez Ibáñez, 54, left the village of Turís, Valencia, Spain, to gather grapes from his vineyard. On the access road to his field he found an egg-shaped, white, metallic object resting on two feet. Two small beings in white outfits "puffed up with air" with protruding black tubes ran from behind a carob tree and entered the craft, which suddenly ascended at great speed, stirring up a whirlwind. The case was investigated in depth in 1979 and reinvestigated in 2008; ground traces were found as circumstantial evidence. Spanish investigator Vicente-Juan Ballester Olmos concluded that the witness sincerely believed in the reality of his experience and found no evidence of a lie, fantasy or embellishment, but later asked whether the publicity for the film Star Wars might have influenced him. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
