James, Georgia: Bright light with blinking colored lights hovers over house by the tracks
At 7:30 p.m. on March 24, 1980, James Balkcom in James, Georgia, saw a bright light move along the railroad tracks at treetop level and hover above the home of Benton Evans, whose family also watched it.
Background
At 7:30 p.m., when his dog began barking furiously, James Balkcom noticed a bright light moving along the railroad tracks at treetop level in James, Georgia. It stopped and hovered above the home of Benton Evans. The Evanses went outside and watched the light, which had colored lights blinking inside it. After 5โ10 minutes it began moving along the tracks again with a pulsing 'shh-shh' noise. IUR/Probe reported the case in September 1980 as a low-flying Georgian globe. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
