Background

At 5:50 p.m., a retired man resting on his sundeck in Ipswich, Massachusetts, saw a silver object tumbling end over end. He grabbed binoculars and watched it pass overhead and continue on. It appeared to descend as it disappeared behind trees in the direction of the Sagamore Hill Solar Radar Observatory in South Hamilton (since relocated to Millstone Hill, Westford). The International UFO Reporter described it as a tumbling daylight UFO. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
