Darco, Texas: Domed disc shines lights on utility worker's pickup, damaging its electrics

At 9:30 p.m. power company employee Dale Spurlock was driving on the Darco Cutoff Road just north of Darco, Texas, near a small lake and power lines, when he saw a red pulsating domed disc at treetop level. It had a row of red, blue, green and amber lights at the base of the dome and passed silently just above the trees, then hovered. The object tilted, and two headlights on its front shone directly down on Spurlock's pickup truck. Revolving counterclockwise, it moved off to the east. The truck's alternator and battery were damaged. The account follows the entry in George M.
