Denise Bishop reported that on 11 September 1981 in Britain she saw a large, dark-grey object hovering over her house. She said a green beam struck her hand, leaving her unable to move it for about 30 seconds, and that she subsequently noticed a burn. Timothy Good recorded her later account; in the reported account, the mark was still visible ten months later. No independent medical or governmental confirmation of the cause is established.
