Minneapolis, Minnesota: Father and daughters see black object follow a Cessna
At 7:15 p.m. on September 2, 1982, John T. Sery and his two daughters saw a jet-black object with a silvery band follow a Cessna at about 1,500 feet over Minneapolis, Minnesota, before it descended.
Background
At 7:15 p.m. John T. Sery noticed an object following a Cessna aircraft at an altitude of about 1,500 feet above Minneapolis, Minnesota. It matched the plane's pace until, about 4 miles away, it descended. His two daughters also saw it. The top and bottom of the object were jet black, and it had an equatorial band that was silvery metallic with a hint of rainbow reflections. The case was published as "Minnesota Flying Black Hamburger" in the CUFOS Associate Newsletter in 1984/85. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
