Background

Richard Mull found a large star-shaped hole in his bean field west of Wauseon, Ohio, with the dirt mounded up around it. It had six long points 19 feet long and four shorter points 9 feet long. In the center was a depression 8 feet in diameter and 8 inches deep. At the center of this depression a small hole 2 inches in diameter went down to a depth of 6 feet. The CUFOS Associate Newsletter reported it in 1985 as one of two unexplained physical trace cases in northwest Ohio; no object sighting is mentioned. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
