Port Washington, Wisconsin: Silent object with three rotating lights over Lake Michigan
From 4:14 to 5:15 a.m. on January 3, 1984, a woman near Port Washington, Wisconsin, watched a silent object with three rotating lights about 50 feet off the Lake Michigan shore, its searchlight showing turbulent water; a second, smaller object appeared above it.
Background
At 4:14 a.m. a woman near Port Washington, Wisconsin, woke when a bright light shone through the bedroom window and saw a strange object with three circular lights in a fixed position about 50 feet from the shore of Lake Michigan. The center light, as bright as a searchlight, rotated north and lit the water, which was seen to be turbulent; all three lights rotated clockwise around a 30-foot body. Her husband suggested a Coast Guard helicopter, but the object was completely silent. A smaller object, also with three lights, appeared above the first, hovered a few minutes and disappeared; the first object moved about 20–30 feet, hovered another 10–15 minutes and at 5:15 a.m. moved away to the southeast. Back in bed, the woman soon felt a powerful electric shock penetrate her body with a buzzing sound. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
