Columbus, Ohio: Five PhDs see cone-shaped object in fog over Ohio State campus
At 4 p.m. on February 23, 1984, five witnesses with PhDs watched an upside-down-ice-cream-cone-shaped object surrounded by fog over the Ohio State University campus in Columbus for 20 minutes.
Background
At 4:00 p.m. five witnesses, all with PhDs, reported an object shaped like an upside-down ice cream cone over the Ohio State University campus in Columbus, Ohio. It seemed to be surrounded by fog but changed its appearance about every 60 seconds, at one point looking rectangular. It was seen for 20 minutes, heading in the direction of Port Columbus Airport. Irena Scott described the observation in the Ohio Journal of Science in 1988. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
