Boulaur, France: Five nuns at Cistercian abbey see bright oval object dart over cemetery
At 5:50 a.m. on 24 March 1984 five nuns at the Sainte-Marie Cistercian Abbey in Boulaur, Gers, France, watched a bright, silent oval object move rapidly up, down and sideways and stop above the abbey cemetery.
Background
At 5:50 a.m. five nuns at the Sainte-Marie Cistercian Abbey in Boulaur, Gers, France, saw from the first-floor balcony a bright oval object about 16 feet long and 6.5 feet tall. It hovered at first, then moved up and down and right and left "at the speed of lightning." It stopped about 100 feet above the cemetery and 325 feet from the witnesses, without any sound, and then left in the direction from which it had come. The case is documented in an investigation note by GEIPAN, the unidentified aerospace phenomena office of the French space agency CNES, dated 30 June 2014; Michael Swords also covers it. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
