Claxton, Georgia: Three Boomerang-Shaped Objects Hover Over Field
A mother and daughter driving south along Perry Road in the southeastern Georgia town of Claxton at 8 PM notice three boomerang-shaped objects hovering above a field — one large and two smaller. Each has two large lights in center plus rows of small multicolored lights blinking in rapid sequence. The large object flies over their car in perfect silence at about 40 feet wingspan. Background
At about 8 p.m. on 21 March 1984, a mother and daughter travelling on Perry Road near Claxton, Georgia, reported seeing three boomerang-shaped objects over a field—one large and two smaller. They described bright central lights and rows of rapidly blinking, multicoloured lights; the larger object reportedly passed silently over their car. One witness approached the media only anonymously. MUFON investigator Shirley Coyne also reported other people seeing lights during those nights, although only some provided formal accounts. These remain witness reports, not a confirmed identification of the objects.
