Tacoma, Washington: Driver photographs long glowing oval, develops facial rash next day
On March 7, 1985, at 11:40 a.m., a driver on North Stevens Street in Tacoma, Washington, saw a long, glowing oval object less than 2 miles away, took four photographs that show only a blur of light, and watched it shoot straight up; a day later he developed a rash on his face.
Background
At 11:40 a.m. a witness driving south on North Stevens Street between 12th and 16th streets in Tacoma, Washington, saw a long, glowing, oval object to his left less than 2 miles away. The object, the width of four full moons, began banking to the northeast. At a traffic light he took three photographs of the distant object, then drove another mile toward it and took a fourth photo before it shot straight up and out of sight. The photos show only a blur of distant light. A day later the witness developed a rash on his face. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
