Background

At 4:05 p.m. Greek Olympic Airways Flight OA 132, piloted by Christos Stamulis, was flying from Zürich, Switzerland, to Athens. As it passed the Swiss-Italian border at 25,000 feet, a wingless projectile passed 200 to 500 feet below the aircraft from left to right. The object was about 6 feet long and dark brown or black and came from the Italian side of the border. Italian and Swiss military authorities denied any tests. Clas Svahn and Anders Liljegren included the case in a 1994 IUR survey of encounters with unknown missiles. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
