Józsa, Hungary: Road engineer sees landed disc with lit portholes and two figures
At 2:30 a.m. on January 9, 1987, a road-maintenance engineer near Józsa, between Hajdúböszörmény and Debrecen, Hungary, came upon a disc about 50 feet across sitting near power lines, with lit portholes, an open door and two figures in dark coveralls outside; he fled.
Background
At 2:30 a.m. a road-maintenance engineer on a routine checking tour near Józsa, between Hajdúböszörmény and Debrecen, reached the point where a colleague had seen a “trailer” in December. He saw a “farmhouse” with lit windows, but knowing there was no farmhouse there, he stopped his truck. The object sat near the overhead power lines between two stacks of straw: disc-shaped, about 50 feet in diameter and rounded at the rim, with a row of 8–10 portholes along its center line giving off warm yellow light and grayish-white streaks of light between them. Under the windows an open door about 5–6 feet high showed light and a floor with transverse ribs. Two entities in dark coveralls stood outside the object and another appeared in the doorway, while yellowish flashes erupted from its top every 2–4 seconds. The witness fled.
