Background
Paul Paulsen Frøyen saw two "U-boats" in the Sognefjord between Lavik and Vadheim, Vestland, Norway. He watched them for two and a half minutes, noting their periscopes and towers, and when they submerged he could see the spray. The Norwegian Air Force sent two jets to look for them, and the Coast Guard was also alerted. Eberhart cites Ole Jonny Brænne's survey of unidentified submarine objects in Norway in the IUR (Jan./Feb. 1995). The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
