Mykolaiv, Ukraine: Beam from hovering disc lifts meat plant worker until colleagues run up
On the night of 16 September 1989, a woman worker at a meat packing plant in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, was struck by a beam from a hovering disc and began rising toward it until other workers ran toward her shouting.
Background
At night, a female employee at a meat packing plant in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, stepped outside for a quick break when a beam of light struck her from above. Looking up, she saw a hovering disc-shaped craft about 130–260 feet in diameter. She felt no fear, had a euphoric feeling and began rising into the air toward the object, hearing a voice urging her to 'fly with them.' Other workers came to the scene, yelling and running toward her. The beam disappeared and the UFO flew away. Jacques Vallée reported the case in UFO Chronicles of the Soviet Union (1992). The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
