At 9:50 p.m. on December 5 or 12, 1989, a couple driving on the Trierer Strasse in Aachen, Germany, saw a flying object cut across the road in front of them to the right. It had two headlights at the front, emitting beams that slanted downward, and a flashing orange light on its underside. The same object reappeared at their home around 11:15 p.m. Auguste Meessen included the report in his account of the Belgian sightings in the International UFO Reporter.
