Jupille, Belgium: Oval Object Lands in Meadow, Leaves Circular Trace
At 2:15 AM on December 12, 1989, at the town of Jupille about 35 miles southwest of Eupen, a witness observes an enormous oval object jammed between several trees. It has small lights changing from red to blue around its circumference and a logo of several ellipses crossing themselves. The object rises and settles several times, emitting different sounds. It moves toward a neighbor's meadow with three beams of light, then a bright shaft of light shoots into the sky. Police and military investigate and find a gigantic circular trace in the meadow with expertly shorn grass (as if by a lawn mower), no clippings, and the grass within the circle turned yellow. The witness tells UFO investigators that 'the military expressed little interest in his testimony, as if they knew what it was all about.'
