Lostorf, Switzerland: Couple sees three white lights joined by red and green light chains
At 7:00 p.m. on October 14, 1990, Frau Wengere and her husband, driving from Lostorf to Zürich, saw two motionless bright white lights over the mountains, later joined by a third, with chains of red and green lights connecting them.
Background
At 7:00 p.m. Frau Wengere and her husband were driving from Lostorf to Zürich, Switzerland, when she saw two motionless, bright white lights ahead to the left over a range of mountains; her husband could not stop because there was nowhere to pull over. The lights of an approaching aircraft were much smaller and paler. They lost sight of the lights while driving through a village, then saw them again a little higher to the right of the road, with a third light now visible to the left of the others. The third light moved closer to the other two, which shifted from a 45° angle to horizontal while keeping the same spacing, and the witnesses saw two chains of red and green lights joining them. They drove on and lost sight of the lights. Auguste Meessen reported the sighting in his 1991 article on the Belgian sightings in the International UFO Reporter. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
