Spontin and Beez, Belgium: Families see huge plate-shaped object with cupola and portholes
On January 6, 1991, at 6 p.m., a family on the E411 near Spontin, Belgium, saw a gigantic plate-shaped object with lights and a cupola pass overhead; at 6:30 p.m. a family at Beez watched an object with 15 lit portholes hover over a quarry.
Background
At 6 p.m. four family members driving on the E411 motorway near Spontin, Belgium, watched a gigantic, plate-shaped object with many lights and a cupola pass overhead heading northwest. At 6:30 p.m. a family driving south on the A4 at Beez saw three lights attached to an object hovering above a quarry. Army veteran Hardy estimated it at about 260 feet long and 30 to 50 feet high, with three forward lights forming a rectangle, a red light at the lower rear, a bulging dark-gray underside and 15 portholes lit in white along the side. The witnesses parked by the road and watched for about another minute. As soon as Hardy switched on his headlights, the object moved away to the northeast. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
