Background

At 11:00 p.m. a couple driving near Trois-Rivières, Quebec, saw three strange triangular objects flying in the northern sky. One object, shaped like a "topper" and much larger than an airplane, aimed an intense white light at their car for 20 minutes. They felt as if "time was stopped." Dozens of other people in the region saw UFOs the same night. Eberhart cites Mark Rodeghier, "UFOs in Canada—1996," in the International UFO Reporter (Summer 1997). The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
