Background

At 3:00 a.m. Folkestone Herald journalist Sarah Hall was driving through Burmarsh, Kent, when she saw a large triangular object descend and hover above a field about 700 feet away near Dymchurch. It had a disc attached at the back and a big light on the front, and seemed twice the size of an airliner. When she stopped, it shot to a spot about 1,500 feet away and hovered, repeating this four times with a humming sound as it moved west in increments of a few seconds. After Hall wrote an article about her sighting, other witnesses of a strange object came forward; one epicenter was the Lympne residence of Conservative Home Secretary Michael Howard. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
