Tom DeLonge, co-founder of the rock band Blink-182, would in 2017 become co-founder of To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science, a UFO-focused company whose public UAP disclosures helped push the topic into mainstream US politics. Before that, however, he was an enthusiastic participant in fieldwork based on Dr Steven Greer's CE5 protocols — guided meditations and group signalling intended to invite close encounters.
The Camp
In 2014, DeLonge and a small group of friends drove to a remote area near Tonopah, Nevada, deep in the Test and Training Range country, specifically to perform CE5 protocols through the night.
The Experience
At approximately 03:00 DeLonge was awakened in his tent by what sounded like voices talking outside. He described being unable to move, sensing a strong static-electricity charge on his skin, and hearing the voices continue for an unknown length of time. When he was next able to check a clock, roughly three hours had passed, for which he had no clear memory.
