CENTCOM area: EO/IR sensor tracks area of contrast on 13 February 2020
On 13 February 2020, according to the uploader-defined title, an electro-optical and infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform in the U.S. Central Command area tracked an area of contrast for about three minutes, zooming in and out and switching modalities.
Background
AARO's official description states that this video of 4 minutes 59 seconds, uploader-titled '[call sign redacted] (Mission) - HD 2020-02-13', is likely derived from an electro-optical and infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in 2020; a user uploaded it to a classified network in February 2020, and AARO notes that many of these materials lack a substantiated chain of custody. Per the timestamped description, the first 1:46 has no content; at 01:47 an area of contrast enters at the upper right and leaves on the left, the sensor pans to track it from 01:52, zooms out and in from 02:11 to 02:28 and repeatedly from 02:29 to 04:38, changes modality at 04:40 so that the contrast loses distinctiveness, returns to electro-optical collection at 04:44 with the contrast near the centre, and zooms again at 04:54β04:59. The date comes from the uploader-defined title, the location is undisclosed, and AARO states that the description reflects no analytical judgment about the event's validity, nature or significance. The video was released following a 6 March 2026 request by eight members of the House of Representatives for 51 potentially UAP-related records. The details are taken from the records released by the U.S. Department of War (record code DOW-UAP-PR094) and do not represent an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
