Background

The mission report (MISREP 4472514, 482nd Attack Squadron, 432nd Air Expeditionary Wing, 609th AOC) covers a flight of a platform whose type, tail number and callsign are redacted (1.4a); it took off from OKAS at 04:43Z on July 16, 2020 and scanned vessels in the Arabian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman for NAVCENT. Three observation entries record an 'unidentified aerial phenomenon' observed by FMV: at 18:30Z with the aircraft at FL200 and 98 KIAS near grid 39R VM, at 19:20Z at FL190 and 90 KIAS near grid 39R UN, and at 23:45Z at FL191 and 115 KIAS near grid 39R UN; the grid digits are partly redacted. The released text contains no description of the objects, weather was not a factor, and the full-motion video was exploited by DGS-1; the aircraft landed at OKAS at 02:00Z on July 17. The report was declassified by USCENTCOM on March 16, 2026 (MDR 26-0028). The details are taken from the records released by the U.S. Department of War (record code DOW-UAP-D65) and do not represent an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
