Arabian Gulf: USAF ISR aircraft records transiting UAP at 07:26 UTC
On 8 August 2020 at 07:26 UTC a U.S. Air Force ISR aircraft operating from Kuwait in support of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command observed one transiting UAP over the Arabian Gulf on its full-motion video sensor; the report notes no impact to the mission.
Background
The mission report (MISREP 4592219, declassified by the USCENTCOM Chief of Staff on 20 March 2026) covers a 21-hour sortie of a single Air Force ISR aircraft of the 432nd Air Expeditionary Wing that took off from Ali Al Salem, Kuwait, at 03:37 UTC on 8 August 2020 and scanned Iranian naval vessels and ports in the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz and Gulf of Oman for NAVCENT. The observation line records, at 07:26 UTC on 8 August 2020, one UAP in the vicinity of a partly redacted MGRS position in grid zone 39R, observed activity 'transiting', method of observation full-motion video, and 'no impact to mission'. The weather section notes that dense cloud coverage intermittently impacted FMV collection. Later that day the aircraft was hailed on guard by Iranian air defence, which the report treats as routine. Aircraft type, callsign, tail number and the full coordinates are redacted. The details are taken from the records released by the U.S. Department of War (record code DOW-UAP-D60) and do not represent an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
