Background

AARO assesses that this video, uploader-titled '31 AUG 2020 [call sign redacted] [call sign redacted] Observes UAP part2', is likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in 2020; a user uploaded it to a classified network in August 2020 and its chain of custody is not substantiated. In the 4:58 clip the sensor tracks an area of contrast near the centre (00:00–00:45); a second area enters from the lower right and exits while the sensor pans to track both (00:46–01:09); contrast modes cycle (01:10–01:22); several areas of contrast enter and exit the frame (01:23–02:35), become indistinct (02:36–02:41) and distinguishable again (02:42–03:22); more areas enter and exit (03:23–03:43); the sensor pans to track one area (03:44–03:48), which exits to the right (03:49–04:01); the rest has no content. The two callsigns, platform and location are undisclosed. AARO states that the description reflects no analytical judgement about the event's nature. The details are taken from the records released by the U.S. Department of War (record code DOW-UAP-PR089) and do not represent an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
