Background

AARO's official description states that this video of 4 minutes 57 seconds, uploader-titled '24 AUG 2020 [call sign redacted] (Mission) Observes UAP', is likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in 2020; a user uploaded it to a classified network in August 2020, and AARO notes that many of these materials lack a substantiated chain of custody. Per the timestamped description, at 00:00–00:03 the sensor tracks an area of contrast moving down the left side of the screen, pans to centre it from 00:03 to 00:21, zooms in on it from 00:22 to 01:04, the contrast exits and re-enters the field of view several times at 01:05–01:14, and the remainder to 04:57 has no content. The date comes from the uploader-defined title, the location is undisclosed, and AARO states that the description reflects no analytical judgment about the event's validity, nature or significance. The video was released following a 6 March 2026 request by eight members of the House of Representatives for 51 potentially UAP-related records. The details are taken from the records released by the U.S. Department of War (record code DOW-UAP-PR090) and do not represent an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
