Africa: Military infrared sensor records brief transit of unidentified area of contrast
On October 18, 2020, according to the uploader's title, an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform in the U.S. Africa Command area recorded an area of contrast crossing the field of view from the top left to the bottom right within about five seconds.
Background
The 4-minute-59-second video was uploaded to a classified network in October 2020 with the uploader-defined title '18 Oct 2020 [callsign] observes UAP'; AARO assesses it as likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating in the U.S. Africa Command area of responsibility in 2020 and notes the unverified chain of custody of this collection. According to the official video description the recording has no content for the first 57 seconds; between 00:58 and 01:03 an area of contrast transits the field of view, entering near the top left corner and exiting near the bottom right corner, and the remainder has no content. The platform, the exact location and the observers are not disclosed. The details are taken from the records released by the U.S. Department of War (record code DOW-UAP-PR081) and do not represent an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
