Background

AARO's official description states that this video of 4 minutes 46 seconds, uploader-titled '16 OCT 2020 [call sign redacted] views UAP', is likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating within the U.S. Africa Command area of responsibility in 2020; a user uploaded it to a classified network in October 2020, and AARO notes that many of these materials lack a substantiated chain of custody. The only described content is at 00:28–00:29, when an area of contrast transits the frame from the middle left side to the upper right side. The date comes from the uploader-defined title, the location is undisclosed, and AARO states that the description reflects no analytical judgment about the event's validity, nature or significance. The video was released following a 6 March 2026 request by eight members of the House of Representatives for 51 potentially UAP-related records. The details are taken from the records released by the U.S. Department of War (record code DOW-UAP-PR082) and do not represent an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
