Background

The official description states that U.S. Central Command submitted to AARO a UAP report consisting of five minutes and 11 seconds of video from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform in 2020, and that the reporter provided no oral or written description of the observation; the video contains incidentally recorded audio unrelated to the visuals. Per the timestamped description, from 00:31 to 03:24 the sensor pans down and right to an area of contrast and tracks it against the background for about three minutes, cycling contrast and zoom levels; from 03:25 to 04:23 it cycles reticles while tracking, the contrast briefly leaving the centre of the field of view; from 04:24 to 04:50 the field of view widens while tracking continues; at 04:50–04:54 tracking stops and the contrast exits the frame at the top left. Platform, sensor type, exact date and position are not disclosed; a previous graph run recorded the location as Arabian Gulf without a stated source. AARO states that the description reflects no analytical judgment about the event's validity, nature or significance. The details are taken from the records released by the U.S. Department of War (record code DOW-UAP-PR44) and do not represent an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
