CENTCOM area: FMV and infrared sensor track 'spherical UAP' on 12 April 2021
On 12 April 2021, according to the uploader-defined title, a full-motion video camera and infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform in the U.S. Central Command area tracked an area of contrast, described by the uploader as a spherical UAP, for about a minute before it became indistinct.
Background
AARO's official description states that this video of 4 minutes 46 seconds, uploader-titled 'Spherical UAP [call sign redacted] 2021/04/12 vid 0', is likely derived from a full-motion video camera and an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in 2021; a user uploaded it to a classified network in June 2024, and AARO notes that many of these materials lack a substantiated chain of custody. Per the timestamped description, from 03:02 to 04:00 an area of contrast enters the sensor field of view at the upper right and exits at the bottom right while the sensor pans to centre it, and from 04:01 to 04:46 the sensor changes modes as the area of contrast becomes indistinct against the background. The date comes from the uploader-defined title, the location is undisclosed, and AARO states that the description reflects no analytical judgment about the event's validity, nature or significance. The video was released following a 6 March 2026 request by eight members of the House of Representatives for 51 potentially UAP-related records. The details are taken from the records released by the U.S. Department of War (record code DOW-UAP-PR061) and do not represent an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
