Washington, D.C.: 28 senators attend UAP briefing for two Senate committees

In an email to senior Department of Defense officials, Neill T. Tipton, Director for Defense Intelligence, Collection and Special Programs, described a high-level UAP briefing to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Armed Services Committee. He noted that 28 senators attended, an unusually high turnout “nearly unprecedented for an engagement like this,” and that “continued very high interest from the Senate” was evident. Tipton confirmed that he took part in the briefing himself, alongside representatives of ODNI, the Navy, the Air Force and NORAD. The email was published by The Black Vault in April 2025. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
