Mobile phone video shows luminous phenomenon with trails of diminishing brightness, March 2022
In March 2022 a video apparently recorded with the rear camera of a mobile phone showed a luminous phenomenon with trails of diminishing brightness; the clip, digitally altered before upload, was later placed on a U.S. classified network under the title of an intelligence information report locating it near Karaganda International Airport in Kazakhstan, a location AARO does not confirm.
Background
The 17-second video was uploaded to a classified network in April 2023 under the uploader-defined title 'ADMINISTRATIVE REVISION: IIR 1777 J0032 22 Kazakhstan - UAP in the vicinity of Karaganda International Airport'; AARO assesses it as likely derived from the rear-facing camera of a commercially available mobile phone in March 2022 and states that the media was digitally altered before upload and is presented as received. According to the official video description the clip fades in from black at 00:04 to show a luminous phenomenon with trails of diminishing brightness extending from the centre, the camera pans left and right and zooms in on it, and the video fades to black at 00:13. The person filming, the exact date and the circumstances are not disclosed, and AARO draws no conclusion about the nature of the phenomenon. The details are taken from the records released by the U.S. Department of War (record code DOW-UAP-PR072) and do not represent an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
